REAL* Renovation LLC is owned & operated by Troy White in Homer, Alaska.

I am a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor specializing in home renovation. The work I do involves every aspect of residential home construction, primarily focusing on brightening up homes with new bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, flooring, decks, and all aspects of drywall, painting, and carpentry. I also renovate entire homes with clients who wish top dollar for the house they are planning to put on the market. I work with my clients to create the space that they envisioned by making them very much a part of the process. Every house I have renovated has sold in less than 30 days with the most recent selling in 36 hours.

My Grampa introduced me to carpentry when I was 4 years old. Over many years, he patiently taught me how to restore furniture that he bought in thrift stores or garage sales. I clearly remember projects my Grampa and I enjoyed together. I knew he had some boards, a saw, a hammer, and nails waiting for me. Sometimes I would even push past him to dash to the shed out back just as soon as he opened the front door of his house.

Since then my life’s work is to make things beautiful. I am inspired by the response from clients when they see what we create together. I thoroughly enjoy the work I do. I strive to learn the newest innovations and updated codes associated with the construction trade. I cannot imagine doing anything else for a living that is more fulfilling.
